Services

Landlord’s Self-Help Centre’s staff receive thousands of inquiries from Ontario landlords each year. Approximately one third of the inquiries received originate in Toronto with the balance coming from across the province and beyond.

LSHC’s staff provide landlords with information and advice on their rights and responsibilities under the Residential Tenancies Act, the provincial legislation that governs residential rental relationships in Ontario. The staff also provide landlords with advice on how to enforce their rights through notices, mediation and applications to the Landlord and Tenant Board.

Landlord’s Self-Help Centre’s staff provide landlords with information and advice by telephone, Zoom and in-person at our office at 55 University Avenue, 15th Floor, Toronto.

The staff may prepare legal documents for landlords who meet financial eligibility guidelines. The staff does not provide any legal representation.
