I’ve rented part of my unit to a roommate and must ask him to leave due to nonpayment. It seems that I’m not covered by the RTA but a licensee/licensor relationship, help!

The only suggestion we have for you in trying to convince the police that you are not covered under the RTA and to show them the section of the Act that provides the definition of landlord.
