  • January 26, 2022 at 1 pm – Conflict Resolution and Mediation: We’ve recorded the live presentation in case you were unable to attend or missed it. The presentation features partners from TNG Conflict Resolution and Mediation Service and provides information the steps involved to resolve conflict. The presentation also includes information about mediation at the Landlord and Tenant Board, payment plans made outside of the LTB’s mediation and application process which, thanks to a recent amendment, can now become a LTB order.   • March 23, 2022 at 1 pm – Rental Housing Enforcement Unit – LSHC partnered with the Rental Housing Enforcement Unit to provide the small landlord community with information on the mandate and operation of  the RHEU. We will also discussed how the RHEU can assist in situations when at tenant has changed the locks without the landlord’s consent and has not provided a key; and when a tenant refuses to give access to the rental unit after the require notice to entry has been given.  In addition, the RHEU provided an overview of the more common offences and penalties, including recent changes pursuant to Bill 184.  The presentation was recorded, please follow this link: Rental Housing Enforcement Unit.
