Confidentiality Policy

  1. Any client information of any nature whatsoever which comes to the attention of a member of the Board of Directors or a member of a Committee for any reason is strictly confidential, and shall not be disclosed by a board member to any other person (including other board members) except for purposes of compliance with the Landlord’s Self-Help Centre complaints procedure, and then only where the client has authorized the release of such information.
  2. For purposes of the foregoing, “client information” includes but is not limited to the following: client name, telephone number, and address.

  3. All board members and volunteers shall be required to sign a confidentiality agreement upon volunteering to become involved with the Centre and/or sit on the board, whether or not actually appointed
